In most cases, phishers will make initial contact via email. Meanwhile, they also can provide telephone numbers. When you are behind on bills, some unethical debt collectors will see if they can get you to divulge certain information. Therefore, even if the things that may look like a phishing attempt to clear, you also have to investigate as you can on your own. At least, when you do a reverse phone search, you can investigate to find out someone who really when they deliberately target.

If you find a bill collector uses phishing or other types of fraud, you can report it to law enforcement officers. Unfortunately, if you do not personally investigate to find out where they work, it will be very difficult to get out and work, especially for the bill collection agencies or lawyers who deal with it. While this may be an extra step on your bank warning, at least you'll have the satisfaction to know that this individual would face a maximum possible.

In the meantime, if they can not stop fraud costs, tariffs will charge you only go on your invoice. So they think it useful to get two, or maybe even three times the amount of money out of you through illegal means.
